Concept: Retro Parisian Workspace

This project is built around a retro-inspired office design approach, combining mid-century and 1970s influences with contemporary functionality.

Instead of a traditional corporate layout, the space is designed as a hybrid between a creative studio, a boutique workspace, and a café-style interior, resulting in a more expressive and engaging environment.

Furniture & Spatial Design

The furniture is defined by rounded shapes, soft upholstery, and expressive proportions. Mid-century inspired pieces are paired with bold accents to create a relaxed yet curated setting.

Burgundy chairs, plum lounge seating, and sculptural tables introduce strong visual identity while maintaining a layout that supports everyday work activities.

Through photorealistic rendering, the project presents a workspace that feels both practical and visually distinctive.

Material & Colour Palette

Colour plays a central role in shaping the character of the space.

Mustard yellow, walnut brown, cream, burgundy, plum, terracotta, and sage green are carefully balanced to create a nostalgic yet refined composition. Neutral tones provide visual stability, while stronger accents add depth and personality.

This palette creates a workspace that feels expressive, warm, and highly recognizable.

Lighting Design

Lighting is used as a key design element rather than just a functional layer.

Brass dome pendants, globe lamps, pleated shades, and exposed bulbs introduce warmth and reinforce the retro aesthetic. The lighting strategy focuses on creating depth and visual interest, helping define different zones within the space.
